Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall DHL, its affiliates or licensors or any third parties mentioned at the DHL website be liable for any incidental, indirect, exemplary, punitive and consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption resulting from the use of or inability to use the DHL website and DHL systems, services, content or information whether based on warranty, contract, tort, delict, or any other legal theory, and whether or not DHL is advised of the possibility of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall DHL's total liability for any damages (direct or otherwise) or loss regardless of the form of action or claim, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, exceed EUR 100.00. To the extent permitted by law, the remedies stated for you in these terms and conditions are exclusive and are limited to those expressly provided for in these terms and conditions.

Products and Services

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the transportation products and services mentioned in these web pages are subject to DHL’s Terms and Conditions of carriage. Since these may vary depending on location of the country of origin of the shipment, please contact the nearest DHL service center to obtain a copy of the local terms and conditions. Not all of DHL’s products and services may be available in every country.

Disclosure of Information

All information provided to DHL by visitors to these web pages is considered to be confidential and will not be disclosed by DHL to any third party except as may be required for the provision of the services.

GOGREEN Climate Neutral service

This page sets out the terms and conditions on which DHL Express will offer the GOGREEN Climate Neutral service to your Company.

You represent and warrant that you have full power and authority to bind your Company and any relevant affiliates to these terms and conditions.

This page constitutes an amendment to the rates under the existing agreement your Company has with DHL.

The GOGREEN Climate Neutral service is available on all international Time Definite, DHL ECONOMY SELECT as well as domestic Time Definite services.

You agree that DHL will handle all shipments under the account number(s) which you have provided in the online form as GOGREEN Climate Neutral shipments and invoice your Company for it with effect from the date you submit the online form to us.

GOGREEN Climate Neutral service applies to the following DHL products:

If you decide that you no longer want to purchase GOGREEN Climate Neutral for any account number(s) and/or any DHL product(s), please inform your usual DHL contact person with at least two weeks’ notice and DHL will subsequently stop invoicing you for the service in relation to such account(s) and/or product(s).

You agree that DHL will add a separate amount to the relevant invoice for each GOGREEN Climate Neutral shipment. It will be $0.17 per kilogram of billable weight for international shipments, but shall not be lower than the minimum charge of $0.17 per shipment.

We will send you a description of the correct use of GOGREEN logos for your Company-wide use. You agree to comply fully with the descriptions and not to make any unauthorized use of logos, trademarks, texts or photographs.

Any other terms of business between our two companies are unaffected by these terms and conditions. Shipments sent as GOGREEN Climate Neutral will continue to be covered by the terms of existing agreements between our Companies. DHL Express Terms and Conditions of Carriage will continue to apply.
DHL International GmbH. (hereinafter called 'DHL') is pleased that you have visited our website and are interested in our company, products and services. It is important to us to protect your personal data during handling throughout the entire business process.

In the following, we explain what information DHL collects when you visit our website and how this information is used.

Alert on Fraudulent Emails

As the leader in international shipping, the DHL brand is known around the world. DHL takes protecting our customers and their sensitive information seriously. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to be on the alert for fraudulent emails sent by malicious third parties falsely claiming the DHL brand and name. These unauthorised emails often bear images such as official-looking logos to mislead recipients.

False Payment Notice

In most cases, these emails solicit for payment to be made by online shoppers for the delivery of consumer goods purchased over the Internet.

Please be advised that DHL does not request direct payment from online consumers. DHL only collects money due for shipping arrangements made between a consigner and a consignee.

A receiver is still obligated to pay shipping, customs, VAT or similar charges, where these are properly payable at the time of delivery. DHL accepts no responsibility for any costs, charges or payments incurred as a result of fraudulent activity.


If you receive an email requesting you to open an email attachment in order to confirm a delivery by DHL, this email is fraudulent and the attachment may be a computer virus.


DHL Article

You should be wary of emails appearing to be from DHL, but requesting personal information such as username, passwords, bank account or credit card details. These phishing emails might include links that direct you to a spoofed website or online form where you are asked to enter personal information.

If a link appears suspicious, please do not click on it.

In general, DHL recommends not opening attachments or clicking on links in emails identified as being “from” DHL, if one or more of the following is the case:
  • You are not doing business with DHL
  • The email is asking for personal or confidential information
  • The email contains suspicious-looking links or attachments
  • You are instructed to open an attachment for more details, including the tracking number
  • The email does not come with a valid tracking number

If you receive a questionable email containing a tracking number, please verify it at our website at Simply enter the number into the “Track Your Shipment” box on the right-hand side of the page. If there is no result returned, it is not a valid tracking number and the email referencing it has not been sent by DHL.
